Can a flower have its own website? – answers Petar Neftelimov

Post by shukla7789 »

Our guest on the blog is Petar Neftelimov. He is a blogger and a positive journalist. Not only that – he is involved in entrepreneurship, is a guest mentor in several entrepreneurial programs, a lecturer at events on the topic and a volunteer in a number of projects. As he defines himself, he is a positive and creative person.

Petar is the founder of the blog for practical business advice – Neftelimov.com , and co-organizer of the Zero Start Village Entrepreneurship Program . Flower in a Test Tube is another innovative project of which he is the co-founder and CEO.

We are probably missing one of the many roles of the algeria number dataset Petar, but let's find out what he shares about himself and his successful projects in the following interview.

1. Hello, Peter! How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
Always smiling. Full of ideas.

2. Tell us how the idea for the startup you co-founded – Flower in a Test Tube – came about, and what is it?
I am a biotechnologist and bioentrepreneur by education. During my bachelor's degree, after the course in Plant Biotechnology, I saw an opportunity to start a business with the intermediate product of our laboratory work. Namely – flowers in a test tube. This became the topic of my master's thesis and professional project.

My team of colleagues from the faculty and I started the project quite imperceptibly in January 2020, inspired by the thought that we would work in the field of our education and qualification. We will present the secret science to the dear person. We will give it to him in his hands and personally reveal to him the secrets behind it. For us, science does not only reach the threshold of the laboratory and does not only stand behind the complex and incomprehensible terms in scientific articles in English. Science should be presented to people in an interesting and entertaining way.

A flower in a test tube is a product created using the Plant Micropropagation method, part of Plant Biotechnology. The flower is in the test tube and isolated (sterile) from the external environment, which is full of microorganisms. It has a special nutrient medium that allows it to live for at least 2 months without care, including watering. Then it is transplanted into a pot. All it needs is a place with a temperature of 22-24 degrees and indirect sunlight.

In Western Europe and the USA, the method of plant micropropagation is widely used. It offers rapid and controlled growth, but we strive to make the plant not only grow, but also bloom inside the test tube with a specific environment, which is our novelty.

On a more global level, we strive with our flowers to reduce the cultivated areas for cut flowers so that they can be used to feed the ever-growing population.

3. And what is the role of the site in the life of a flower in a test tube?
It's like asking me, "What is the role of a website in science?" These days, if something doesn't have a website, it's as if it doesn't exist.

I am very happy for Petar Teodosiev, who for years has been striving with Nauka.bg to show Bulgarian scientists how important it is to talk about their scientific developments on the web. After all, that's why they do them – to be useful to someone, not to keep them under the mattress. There is no better place to tell about what you have discovered, what you have invented, and have it reach millions of people all over the world – than your own website.

Let me get back to the question. We are a startup, we are trying to do maximum miracles with minimal resources. We have no funds for a physical store, for employees, or for additional costs such as rent and electricity. The website saves us all of this.
