Types of customer focus

There are two levels of customer focus. Let's consider each of them in more detail.

Customer-oriented company
The business of such a company is designed for a long-term perspective and long-term presence on the market. Profit is provided by regular customers.

The organization has clear rules for communicating with clients (scripts, regulations).

Developing customer moj database interaction standards does not necessarily mean customer focus. A company must have a well-thought-out strategy with an emphasis on consumer interests. Employees will act based on it. However, there is one thing. Companies try to maximize profits. They often underestimate the importance of working with and training staff.

Customer-oriented employee
Such a specialist meets the company's requirements. He understands that the wishes of customers are most important to him. The manager follows scripts and considers this correct. American business magnate Henry Ford believed that the salary is actually paid not by the employer, but by the customer. A customer-oriented employee agrees with this statement 100%.

The specialists in question are quite rare. These employees rightly claim high salaries.

They achieve success in sales and attract many loyal and regular customers. A specialist is not born focused on the client, but becomes so through self-development.

Undoubtedly, the customer focus of the organization and personnel are interconnected. The company's management focuses on its clients, and employees solve the tasks assigned to them. Both links are extremely important and extremely necessary.

The phenomenon of customer focus owes its appearance to maximum competition in all business niches. It was becoming increasingly difficult to make a profit through production or price dumping. Marketers began to attract new customers with excellent service.

The consumer market has become filled with competitive goods. In such conditions, buyers have begun to pay more attention to comfortable service. They are attracted by companies focused on the interests of the client.
