I don't know about you, but what motivates me the most to continue writing on this blog (besides the money I get for it) are people's comments. The "congratulations" and "likes" are the fuel that keeps me going.

And believe it or not, there are still users on the Internet who like to comment on the post they just read, especially when it has helped them solve a problem. As a blog author, there are several things you can do to get people to comment on you. Here are a few ideas:

How to get comments on your blog
End your articles with a question . Sometimes, all that is needed is a little push to encourage the reader to leave a comment on a post. That's why ending a post with a call to action can be a good alternative. When you lawyer database the article, ask your readers if they have any questions or would like to make any contributions on the subject.
Respond to all comments. One of the best ways to attract comments is to show that you know what you're talking about, so always respond to comments left on your blog. This way, people will feel that you are an expert on the subject and your comments will surely multiply. Also, people will not be encouraged to comment if they see that you never respond.
Set up a Comment Counter . Not only is it good to count your returning readers, it's also great to have a comment counter for each post. Posts with lots of comments attract more new comments than those that have no one commenting on. For much the same reason that no one wanted to be the first to raise their hand in class.
Link to other sites . Pingbacks allow webmasters to receive notifications whenever someone links to content on their site. If you make a habit of linking to other bloggers' articles, you not only enrich your content, but you also encourage the bloggers you link to to comment.
Write a controversial article . Controversy is a great ally to generate debate on the Internet. Note that to generate controversy you don't have to attack anyone or be rude, it's enough to give a novel point of view on a current topic.
