Step 2: Add a reading progress bar to a single post template
After setting up the theme, now let's add a reading progress bar to the theme template. Since we only want to display the reading bar in WordPress posts, all we need to do is modify the template for a single publication.
To do this, go to the Templates tab in Thrive Theme Builder. Then, find the Default Post template and click Edit.
Edit a single post template for the Thrive theme
You should now be inside the theme builder. There should be a left sidebar for editing the template, a preview of the template itself, and a small toolbar on the right for adding more blocks or changing the style of the template.
To add a reading counter, scroll down the left sidebar and find the "Reading Progress Indicator" setting. Just click the switch to activate it.
