The Atresmedia Group and Endesa have reached a collaboration agreement between both companies for the development of an awareness campaign aimed at promoting energy efficiency and savings among viewers, listeners and users of Atresmedia media . The campaign includes pioneering formats in which the viewer can see how these savings are carried out in various Atresmedia broadcasts and programmes . In this way, both companies are committed to building an integrative, clean and sustainable future.
With the aim of disseminating the concept of Endesa 's 'Everything we do counts ' campaign as much as possible , Atresmedia , as a leading communications group in Spain and a benchmark in information, entertainment and credibility, becomes the best ally of this initiative developed by the energy company and the Innovation & Content area of its Mindshare agency. A project based on pedagogy and raising awareness among the population about how to contribute to energy saving, as well as the positive consequences that this entails.
A pioneering initiative that rewards 'non-consumption'
Endesa 's alliance with Atresmedia is part of the launch of the energy company's energy efficiency campaign that it launched a few days ago for its customers. This is the first initiative of its kind that rewards existing customers and those who sign up for one of the company's tariffs on the free market for not consuming energy. Specifically, Endesa offers discounts on its customers' bills if they consume less electricity and facilitates access to energy efficiency solutions through Endesa X, such as the installation of solar panels or efficient air conditioning equipment.
«After the turbulent months that the energy sector has experienced, we detected that more than 70% of customers were worried about their bill and had started to make changes in their habits, looking to save. And consuming fewer kW also means saving and helping sustainability. We have launched an awareness campaign that not only tries to help customers to be more efficient when consuming energy, offering them a whole range of energy solutions, but also to reward them for it. But that efficiency is 360. The campaign has been produced in a sustainable way and, in addition, thanks to the agreement with Atresmedia , it is broadcast in a sustainable way . And everything we do counts», said the CEO of Endesa , José Bogas , about said campaign and the agreement with Atresmedia.
For his part, Javier Bardají , CEO of Atresmedia , explained the reason for this participation in 'Everything we do counts': "If there is one thing that characterises our Group, it is the attention and interest in the demands of society. We have always been sensitive to their concerns and, without a doubt, in recent times energy efficiency has become one of them. It is not just an economic issue, but also an environmental one. And as part of our commitment to sustainability, we are very proud of this joint awareness campaign with Endesa, in which we have committed to ensuring that our most relevant media and supports show that it is possible to build an integrative, clean and sustainable future."
Innovative formats to raise awareness among viewers
To this end, the Atresmedia Group is committing to this action through the implementation of a 360º strategy created by Mindshare , using its different media and platforms (television, radio and digital) as speakers for relevant and interesting content that includes specialized and innovative formats. In this sense, the campaign - together with different tips on how to save energy - is a pioneer in the broadcast of formats in which viewers can appreciate the energy savings carried out in Atresmedia media , betting on the integration of this communication in the content.
Thus, television programmes such as 'Pasapalabra', 'Y ahora Sonsoles', 'Tu Tiempo' and Antena 3 Deportes show how Endesa 's 'Cada cosa que hace cuenta' is applied during their broadcast, showing lower luminosity without reducing image quality. 'Espejo Público ' also has content on energy saving.
In the digital field, Atresmedia is developing various actions, which include replicating TV promotions but also its own educational content and even a Rosco#Virtual , designed with energy reduction techniques, among others.
On the radio, 'Más de Uno' on Onda Cero offers listeners one-minute slots in which, with the help of the doctor in Physics and scientific communicator Alberto Aparici , the particularities of broadcasting a radio programme in energy-saving mode are explained . 'Cuerpos Especiales ' on Europa FM also takes part in this campaign through a section dedicated to energy saving.
