Long term or nice marketing stunt?
Is the VIP program a nice marketing stunt or is it a long-term initiative? “As an airport, it can be difficult to influence the consumer's choice. After all, the consumer buys the 'product' (in this case a flight) from airlines or via travel agencies or a booking site. In order to ensure that you are top-of-mind as an airport during the decision-making process, you need to be distinctive in my opinion. With that in mind and our increasing focus on optimizing the 'customer journey', this VIP program has grown into a long-term initiative.”

How exactly does the Facebook VIP program work?


"The terminal has recently been expanded, with a wider range of catering and latvia phone number list retail options and a hotel. However, the airport is still very clear. This ensures that we can offer such a VIP program relatively easily. Every month we ask our Facebook fans to register . For example, if you depart from Eindhoven Airport in June, you have a chance to participate in the VIP program after registering.

If you are selected, you can park your car for free during your trip at the specially created Facebook VIP parking lot, right at the entrance of the terminal. You will then be welcomed by an employee of Eindhoven Airport, check in at a special VIP check-in desk and enjoy a meal in the a la carte restaurant. We will then pick you up and guide you through the security lanes, so that you can start your flight relaxed. Things like finding a parking space close to the terminal, waiting at check-in and security have a major impact on how people experience their 'customer journey'. We are tapping into that with our VIP program.”
