What position and share do the participants occupy?

Post by rifat28dddd »

Quantitative online research: online surveys. The main advantages of the method are: no geographical restrictions, targeted selection of respondents (according to specified criteria), real-time tracking of research results, the ability to test various communication materials (various images, videos, etc.).

Qualitative online research:

Online forums – participants are given the opportunity to log in at the most convenient time and give more thoughtful and detailed answers, since the intensity of communication itself is somewhat lower. They usually last 3-4 days, on average, they require from 8 to 25 participants (depending on the profile of the target audience).
Online communities are similar to Online forums, but:
the duration reaches 2-3 months (and sometimes several years);
more participants (up to 500 people);
open participation of the client in the project is possible;
research + promotional marketing (prizes, sweepstakes).
Online blogs – a blog is maintained with each participant bahamas cell phone number list individually. They are more suitable for expert surveys or for studying topics that are sensitive for respondents (such as health issues, hygiene products, religious topics, etc.).
Online focus groups are similar to traditional groups: 6-8 participants simultaneously take part in a 1-1.5 hour discussion through special online programs or resources.
It is important to understand that online research is not a panacea and it also has a number of disadvantages. The most obvious disadvantages are:

Online research does not work well with all target audiences : it is an adequate method for generation Z and Alpha, who use various gadgets from an early age, are involved in information technology and online communication. While older people are more wary of online communication, are not so willing to engage in online communication.
Limited nature of social presence , inability to track non-verbal reactions of participants (facial expressions, postures, gestures, spatial characteristics of joint discussion, eye movements; paralinguistic means of speech – laughter, intonation, pauses, special stresses, semantic accents, etc.);
Less spontaneity in responses , as participants have a long period of time to think about their answer.
