What happens if the update statement is late?

The verification process may take some time to complete and therefore we strongly recommend that you contact us before the statement date.

What if a person is no longer a registrable beneficial owner or managing officer?

As part of the update statement, the foreign entity will have to inform Companies House:

Any registrable beneficial owner or managing officer who was terminated during the update period, and ensure that the information is correct as of that date.
About any person who became and/or ceased to be a registrable beneficial owner greece mobile database during the update period. The information provided must be correct on the date on which the registrable beneficial owner ceased to be one.
Companies House Fees

The Companies House fee for filing an update statement is £120.



If a foreign entity does not file an update statement on time:

He will commit a criminal offense and may be prosecuted or fined.
Its foreign entity ID will not be valid and it will not be able to buy, sell, transfer, lease or charge its property or land in the UK.
A note will be added to the public records of foreign entities that it has not filed its updated statement.
Who cannot currently use the update service?

The following update services are currently unavailable:

Where there are any trusts associated with foreign entities; and
Where any beneficial owners or managing officers keep their personal information safe at Companies House.
In such circumstances, the foreign entity is required to file an update statement on paper, even if it does not need to make any changes to the trust information.
