Young people go on holiday a lot, but not without a smartphone

Post by Bappy11 »

For many young people, the holidays are coming up or have already started. MTV conducted an interesting study into the holiday habits of young people, which shows that the smartphone is definitely not staying at home. The beloved smartphone unfortunately also causes problems for young people, they get into debt because of expensive phone subscriptions. Media literacy is increasingly high on the agenda. And furthermore: Duckstad animals give Twitter tips to young people.

Research by MTV shows that young people go on holiday a lot, no less than 4 times a year. When booking a holiday, young people are mainly looking for new places. They want to discover. The place does not have to be completely unknown, they do want to know something about the destination.

Young people give 'adult' reasons to go on holiday. 'Breaking the routine' and 'Time for lebanon phone number list myself' are important reasons to go on holiday. Young people do not only go on holiday to party, 50% of young people also say that visiting historical places is important.

The most important item young people take with them is their mobile phone/smartphone (85%). The smartphone is closely followed by the digital camera (78%), sunglasses (60%) and sunscreen (47%). Surprisingly, young people prefer a good book over their mp3 player (45% vs. 40%).

They also call on young people to tweet tips themselves. I am very curious whether young people will tweet tips and what the reactions to the campaign are. Read more about the campaign here
