Mobile top tasks
An effective mobile intranet responds to the context and needs of the user. In other words: you want to facilitate him or her in performing 'mobile top tasks'. For example, a student wants to check his schedule between lectures and a mechanic wants to check his next appointments or his work orders while on the road. The mobile top tasks depend on the type of organization, the type of work and the workplace or work situation.

Anyone who starts thinking up and designing a mobile intranet would do well to draw up use cases and user scenarios that are based on the situation and environment of the user. My colleague Christiaan Lustig makes an interesting distinction between the user scenarios for mobile use: the difference between 'on the go' and 'on the couch': on the road, the context and needs of a user ('quickly look something up') are completely different than when he or she is surfing from the couch ('look something up and read at your leisure').

A good mobile intranet is therefore a unique intranet. But there are mobile (top) tasks germany phone number list that are relevant to every mobile intranet, such as:

Find colleagues
Find colleagues by name, expertise, location, distance, group, interests, etc. And of course contact them directly (phone, email, DM).
