4. Find out what people think of your (site) via social media

You can do this by simply trying something new and hoping it will work. Or you can use A/B testing. Divide your visitors into two (or more) groups and present both groups with different versions of a page (part). Combine this with Google Website Optimizer for example and you will get good information about which version converts better.

Your website is shared on various social media sites. Great! But they don't just share content from your site, they also talk about it. Whether it's positive or not. Of course you respond to it, because even if you choose not to respond, that's a response. Listen carefully to your customers/visitors and try to follow what they talk about on the various social platforms. Searches on those china phone number list platforms already provide a lot of insight. Talk to them, but keep your promises. You can even reward your most loyal visitors/fans by turning them into ambassadors. One step further, you can also include visitors in the development process of your websites, product or service. Perhaps a bit of an old book in these rapidly changing times, but it still ties in well with this: Groundswell .

5. Is your visitor really who you think he is? Targeting!
targetingGet to know your visitor, every little bit more you know about him/her will help you understand his/her interests and visiting behavior.
