The trick is to no longer dictate employees' behavior on the internet, but to motivate them in a positive way to use social media. Sports giant Adidas has understood this. The company gave its old social media guidelines a comical makeover. On the corporate blog, Adidas explains the idea behind the renewal of the existing guidelines. Instead of prescribing rules, Adidas wants to motivate its employees to use social media and work together. The company does this not in a boring document with only letters, but in a real comic strip . Make sure that all employees read it.

Social media reloaded
The message that Adidas gives regarding social media remains the same as in chile phone number list the old guidelines, only the style is different. In the new guidelines, the company introduces Sue Social and Media Man , two comic book heroes who are at the beginning of a social media journey. Sue Social has a new smartphone and wants to enter the web 2.0 world. Media Man, still of the old school, wants to protect Sue from 'the dangers' that she can encounter on her way. He does not understand the advantages of social media and starts a real war against the phenomenon. Eventually he realizes that there is no fighting against it and he lets Sue lead him.
