As in previous years, the ROI of intranet is measured (with) varying (success). The number of pages that people view when searching for something is looked at ('the fewer, the better the information architecture' is the idea), the overall use of the intranet (numbers; that should say something about involvement) or the time that people spend on the right parts (that should say something about involvement and about the ease with which people can find content).
It has become a long article, but if you think that I have remained a bit on the surface of the trends in this article, you are partly right. Do not worry, because this is the first article in a series about the developments in the belgium phone number list field of intranet in 2012. Just like in 2010/2011 , my colleagues and I will be examining an important success factor or development in the field of intranet every two weeks between now and the end of March. We will use the reports of McConnell and Nielsen as an important basis:
January 30, Christiaan Lustig reflects on developments around mobile intranet
Bart Hilhorst writes on February 13 about developments in usability and user experience of intranet
Then, on February 27, Floor van Riet will discuss the maturation of social and collaboration functionalities
On March 12, Lonneke Theelen will present the results of the research into mobile intranet in the Netherlands and beyond , which Frankwatching and Sabel Online are conducting together » Interested in participating? Register now!
Finally, Natanja de Bruin concludes our series with an article on intranet governance and management
'Mobile Intranet 2012' Survey: Participate!
In all lists, one central theme emerges: we want to be able to approach more and more tasks in our digital work environment in a mobile way. But how far have we actually come in this respect in the Netherlands compared to other countries? What is the status of the mobile intranet abroad and to what extent do we recognize the trends and developments of the mobile intranet in our own work environment?
Frankwatching and Sabel Online are starting a joint investigation to answer these questions. We will start at the end of January, but you can already register now . You will then receive an invitation for a survey by e-mail and will possibly be approached for a (telephone) interview.
