Google Core Update May 2022

Post by hasinam2206 »

The update of May 25, 2022, primarily affected search results, as it focused on improving the effectiveness of searches made by users. Its main focus was on the EAT (Expertise, Authority, and Trust) of the content. Rich snippets displayed in the Google SERP , in addition to FAQs, became more important, as did images and videos.

Now, the goal was to get Google to capture the relevant uruguay telegram data content of an article and place it in the FAQs or in the featured snippet. In that sense, it is entirely possible to say that specialized content began to gain ground over generalist content (mostly made with AI), negatively affecting e-commerce sites.

Google Core Update November 2021
Let's now move on to the Google Core Update that took place on November 17, 2021. At this point in history, and with a pandemic upon us all, the SEO community was paying close attention to the reports reflected in Google Analytics and Search Console to assess the impact on websites.

SEMrush reported that the update was 12% more unstable than the July update, with a greater impact on mobile devices than desktop (up 23%). The healthcare industry saw a 41% increase in result fluctuations, and 16% of the top 20 URLs ranking before the update saw a deterioration in their rankings.

Fluctuations were also detected in the health, finance and travel sectors , but not in sales. For example, the most popular sales sites experienced changes in their top 10 positions . We could talk about losers and winners, but the truth is that these falls are not definitive and the changes are seen day by day, so it will be a matter of optimizing the sites, polishing the content and removing everything that is not useful for the user.
