As an anecdote, I happened to use this tool at home with teenagers... The areas of application are therefore particularly varied!
Have you encountered any reluctance to incorporate such methods, considered fun, into a business approach?
The LSP method is difficult to propose because it is often little known although it has proven itself. I therefore highlight the results that can be obtained by this method. Generally, an LSP workshop can sometimes be destabilizing because it favors intuition more than reflection ... To overcome everyone's reluctance, it therefore seems essential to me to have support from the hierarchy but also that all participants are ready to play the game. The choice of the location where the workshop will take place also seems essential to me: it is necessary to be able to move around easily and regularly modulate the modes of reflection (collective, in a belgium telegram data group or individual).
The LSP method is very concrete, it allows for very rich exchanges in a short time and, above all, for problems to emerge quickly (but also solutions!).
A workshop led with this methodology allows all participants to have the same level of speech. It is quite easy to access, applicable to all, "we do it with our hands", but we have to know how to bring it... The role of the facilitators therefore seems essential to me!
Creating your model, sharing it, and then enriching it allows you to see concretely the problems or transformations to be made. Playing also encourages emulation, a more active and involved posture.
Can you think of any other cases in which this method might be particularly useful?
If the original LSP method is adapted or appropriated, it can be used for many other purposes!
It can stimulate moments of ideation or foster empathy to better understand the needs and problems faced by users.
Carrying out a workshop with real target users can, moreover, allow a global and particularly rich approach to a project.
