Puzzle: white letters, avatar formatting & bio

Post by Bappy11 »

First of all, these are the white letters with which Twitter displays the text of your bio on your profile page. A completely white background is therefore not desirable in connection with readability. Twitter compensates for this by placing a kind of gray glow over the bottom of your photo so that the text remains readable, but that looks a bit cheap with a completely white background. Think of a Powerpoint background effect in 2003. But this retro gray glow is also something to take into account when you create your header image . Twitter itself therefore already adds an effect in connection with the readability of the text of your bio.

The second factor you need to consider is the layout of your avatar and bio in oman telegram data relation to your new image. This layout is fixed. Your avatar above your bio. So you need to use your creative brain to come up with something original. I have to say that for people like me, with basic graphic skills, it is quite a challenge to achieve a nice result. Especially because it is not possible to determine exactly how the header, avatar and bio will relate to each other before uploading your new header image . It is always a bit of a guess and then you just have to wait until the uploading and saving is complete. I still found it a bit of a puzzle to create and maneuver the new visual in such a way that it looks good on the new profile page.
For now, I have chosen a background with a door and a blue arrow. In the image above, this arrow points to the envelope of the renewed direct messages link, but the rest of the world sees the arrow pointing to the 'follow' (or 'unfollow') button.

Conclusion
In summary, I see a number of interesting possibilities for people and companies. And not only the new header image itself is an enrichment, I also find the visual connection that can be made with the background image and the avatar strong, see for example this profile of the Todayshow . And I am sure that we will see a number of very nice applications. For companies, people and brands, this Twitter update is a valuable extension.
