The Upper Room consisted of 3 parts: thinking, discussing and doing. 600 customers of Zilveren Kruis Achmea were invited to The Upper Room and a surprisingly high percentage of 54% signed up for it. A striking detail: the participants did not receive any reward for their participation in advance. Hilma found it important that the participants were intrinsically motivated to think along.
The trajectory of De Bovenkamer lasted 5 weeks and a total of 50 questions were sent. 170 people eventually helped answer these questions during the entire trajectory.

In the online forum, 35 customers were active (the discussion section ). Because they could see from the e-mails what percentage of the other members agreed or disagreed, they were triggered to go to the forum and discuss the topics further. Conditions for a successful co-creation community
