Information Workspaces : Information workspaces use a team’s physical space to display information that allows anyone, at a glance, to know the progress of a project. How this is done can vary from physical notes and graphs to screenshots showing Kanban boards and dashboards from project management software.
Energetic Work : In XP, you only work as long as you can do energetic work. Work hours should be limited to 40 per week, maximum.
Analysis - Write down user requirements in a format called a user analysis. A user analysis has a short, descriptive name and also a brief description of what needs to be implemented.
Slack : When planning a cycle, add small tasks that the team can skip if needed. More spain rcs data stories can always be added if the team overdelivers.
Cycles (Monthly and Weekly) : Development in XP occurs in two main cycles: the weekly cycle and the monthly cycle.
Meetings, Cycles, Scheduled Releases : Development in XP operates in two main cycles: weekly cycles and quarterly cycles. Initially, Kent Beck recommended a two-week cycle, but changed it in the second edition of his book.
Weekly Cycle : The weekly cycle is the “pulse” of an XP project. This cycle begins with a meeting in which the client chooses which stories they want to create during the week. In addition, the team reviews their work, including the progress from the previous week, and brainstorms ways to improve their process.
Monthly Cycle : Each month, the team reflects and identifies opportunities for improvement in their process. The client selects one or more themes for that month, along with analysis within these themes.
