What if Steve Jobs had offered the first iPhone on January 9, 2007 at the Macworld Conference in San Francisco not only with touchscreen technology, but also with buttons? Wouldn't he have achieved double sales success? For touchscreen lovers and those who like buttons? BMW engineers seem to have thought about these questions for a long time when developing the new flagship, the 7 Series. The Munich-based company presented the result in mid-April: touchscreen plus buttons - a solution that makes every salesperson happy and perhaps raises a few eyebrows among brand strategists.
