Who live in glass houses should

Post by roseline371277 »

In my opinion, Michèle Widmer is making it too easy for herself with her text: preaching water and drinking wine. A little less self-righteousness would be an advantage. Those not throw stones too hard.

With this argument, the columnists are making it too easy for themselves. In the case of Weltwoche, they are being paid by a medium that is taking Vladimir Putin's side. With their texts, they are brazil rcs data helping to give a medium that trivializes the war in Ukraine a reach. Their columns do not appear in a vacuum; readers perceive the writers as Weltwoche authors. They should ask themselves: What is my pain threshold?

Of course, Döpfner always took unusual paths, which his old Springer companions - like this writer - did not always approve of. The sale of HörZu and the Hamburger Abendblatt years ago should never have happened. They were the DNA of the company and Axel Springer was closely linked to its historical founding titles.

Let's hope that such sales do not happen in Switzerland. With Michael Ringier, Robin Lingg and Marc Walder at the helm, this is not to be expected either; they stand for tradition and innovation. And would probably - as in some Eastern countries - take over the Springer share.
