What has led to this situation?
Is this a consequence of the stress of the pandemic? Is it a new way of approaching life? Are workers fed up with their jobs?

There are speculations of all kinds:

The pandemic was a turning point in daring to nigeria number dataset one's life: for many people who were not happy in their jobs, the pandemic has pushed them to take the step of daring to change their lives.
Power struggles with their bosses : After trying out more flexible work models, enjoying the benefits of teleworking and asynchronous work, they have returned to the office as if none of that had ever happened.

They have found a better opportunity.

They want a change of scenery.

The number of workers from other sectors who have moved into digital business, software or IT has doubled in 2021 compared to the previous year in the UK.

Companies like McDonald's and Amazon are offering historic bonuses to their employees because 94% of US retail businesses cannot find workers.
The Great Resignation

And in Spain, how does it affect us?
The number of workers quitting their jobs has skyrocketed by 100% in Spain. In 2022, it is close to historic highs, although compared to the more than 20 million people employed in the Spanish market, 4,000 people is not a very significant figure. The great Spanish resignation is light years away from what is happening in the USA.

According to a study carried out by Infojobs on job abandonment in Spain, up to 23% of Spanish workers considered leaving their jobs in 2021 , and 27% are considering doing so during this year 2022 (even without another job offer on the table).
