When the connection request is accepted:

Once they have accepted your application, it is a reasonably straightforward approach sequence:

Profile Visit: Start by visiting your profile. As we said before, this acts as another gentle reminder to the candidate, as well as feigning human interaction.
Introductory Message Send a message introducing yourself, your company or your client, why you are contacting them, etc.

We always recommend keeping this first message short. However, longer messages can also be effective, especially in a general recruiting context, as opposed to recruiting messages aimed at salespeople for example.

In this message, simply:

Say a few things about yourself and who you represent.
Mention the opportunity why you find them interesting.
Add a few details about the candidate's profile for a more personal approach.
Share your Calendly link as a CTA to have the person reserve a slot for your exchange.
For the third point, the “CustomAttribute” variable in LGM works wonders, as you can fill it in as an vp it email list icebreaker, something you find interesting about the candidate, or any other detail you find relevant.

You can also end your message with an additional resource for the candidate to review; blog posts, a more detailed job description, etc.

Follow-up messages: This is pretty standard, simply reiterating why you are interested in the candidate's profile.

For this part, keep it simple!

Try to flatter the candidate a little, be humorous, but stay professional.

Maybe add a couple of nice things about your potential team so they can get a feel for the general atmosphere of the company and project themselves a bit.

“You have a personal email” attribute: If you still don’t get a response, then move on to email, but for that you need your personal email.
