Some details of AdWords for Nonprofits

Post by Ehsanuls55 »

If you have been selected for Google Ad Grants… Congratulations! You have the potential to manage a full AdWords account; your ads will be available on Google.com without you paying anything at all. But let us remind you that you are now managing the ad account, not Google, and that is why there are some restrictions. Let’s take a look…

You need to set a daily budget (it should be between $329, considering you have $10K per month)
Keywords cannot exceed more than $2.00 cost-per-click (CPC )
Remember that your ads will only appear on Google.com, so you should not use other search engines (search partners)
Tips for keywords keywording
You will probably have a hard time figuring out how to fully invest the $10K each month. That's why we're giving you a few tips that can help you...

Block irrelevant traffic, but don't overdo it with negative keywords . As a nonprofit, you should be on the lookout for keywords like volunteer, fundraising, donation, and other words that are related to the type of work your organization does.
Choose keywords that are standout and in line with your purpose as an entity. Be creative, think a little outside the box and don't be afraid to take on the competition.
Don't limit the keywords that can be matched too much. Keyword diversity can bring more communication directors email lists impressions, more visits, clicks and recognition. So get creative with your keywords.
If you are successful and getting a good response from people, don't stop doing what you're doing. Keep being creative, spend your money wisely, and structure your ads by groups.
Promotional ads should reflect the organization's mission. If the ad is for a sale, the benefits should go completely and strictly to the organization.
Ads must not redirect people to websites other than those of the same entity.
Ads may not offer financial products, such as mortgages or credit cards, nor may ads solicit material goods, such as houses, cars, boats, or other property.
While participating in Google Grants, the website of the entity being promoted may not display Google AdSense ads or other advertising links.
Google determines that any violation of its provisions is cause to remove the nonprofit from the advertising grant.
