Instagram launched a new feature for all its users last June : broadcast channels . Its arrival joins other new tools that Instagram has recently launched, such as guides , scheduling posts from the application or group posts. This new Instagram feature was presented by Meta in February of this year and was born with the aim of improving the reach of content creators in a much more interactive environment. During the presentation, Mark Zuckerberg defined broadcast channels as a new way of chat transmission , which allows creating groups of audiences interested in specific topics.

Until early June, broadcast channels were cfo email lists only available to select users, but now almost anyone can create one. The twist? Only the admin of that channel will be authorized to determine who can share content , though users in that channel will be able to react to messages using emojis.

As we have seen, the use of social intelligence will allow you to transform the data obtained from social media into useful information to explore new markets, learn what attracts users and why they make certain purchasing decisions. In addition, with social intelligence you will be able to obtain faster and cheaper research, and it will even help you identify audiences unknown to your brand.

Instagram has already announced that new forms of interaction will soon be available , such as polls and question boxes, which are already found in other tools on the platform such as Stories.
