The regional budget was replenished by more than one and a half billion rubles. The changes to the main financial document of the region were considered by the deputies of the regional parliament. The Head of the Tambov Region, Maxim Egorov, took part in the work of the Duma session.

The main issue of the 46th session is financial. The bill providing for changes to the regional budget was introduced by the Head of the region Maxim Egorov. According to the amendments, revenues and expenses increase by 1.6 billion rubles.

Evgeny Matushkin, Chairman of the Tambov Regional Duma: “This is a significant amount, and so we decided, in order to use these funds at this favorable time: the weather is good now, so that we could use them as much as possible for repairs and road construction, to hold an extraordinary meeting of the Duma in order to adopt this increased budget.”

The increase was due to the region's own revenues. These are mainly tax revenues. The funds are intended to be used for road works, implementation of national projects and development of the social sphere, including increasing salaries for public sector employees.

Maxim Egorov, Head of Tambov Region: “We basically raise wages almost shareholder database quarterly, and in this part we must maintain the same trend. I would like to say separately that this also increases the attractiveness of such professions as doctors, teachers and other professions that fall under the Presidential Decree. Here we take on increased obligations.”

Taking into account the adopted changes, the revenue side of the regional budget increased to 72.5 billion rubles. Expenditures are almost 75 billion.
