PHD Media Spain creates a direct response client business unit

Post by tasnimsanika8 »

Tania Pérez will be the new Global Direct Response Business Lead for PHD Media Spain for all of PHD's direct response clients, creating a new business unit that will not only serve the Spanish operation, but will also act as a hub for these clients for more than 30 WW markets.

This new structure responds not only to the growth of this type of clients in recent years, including Cosentino, Planeta de Agostini, Liberty Seguros, Eden Spring, Calzedonia Group and recently Si Vas Descalzo, but also to the expansion of the unit outside Spain, as this team will act as a global hub to manage the operations of all these clients in more than 30 markets, with specialists based in Madrid and Barcelona, but also based on strategic markets for each client reporting to the central team based in Madrid. A team led by Tania Pérez that will include Lorena Rodríguez as the new Global Direct Response Director, with a profile transversal to all clients, developing and evolving PHD's own direct response methodology, and with two key positions for the operation occupied by Marta Rubio, Cosentino's Digital Operational Lead and Nacho López, recently incorporated to the team, also as Digital Operational Lead.

For Sandra Sotelo, general manager of PHD Spain , this position represents "an important step in the consolidation of PHD as an agency that is committed to leading the digitalization of its clients always from the perspective of return on investment and business growth, and that will allow us to consolidate ourselves as a strategic partner for performance and e-commerce clients, elevating operational excellence with an integrated vision of communication, but always taking into account the value of specialization."

Tania Pérez, Global DR Business Lead at PHD Media Spain, as the new head of the Direct Response unit at PHD, after almost 4 years at PHD, sees the new position as “a natural evolution of how we have been helping our clients in the growth and evolution of their business with that fundamental focus we have placed on finding and enhancing synergies beyond the digital ecosystem for their acquisition strategies. We now have great potential to continue developing our own capabilities that allow us to help our advertisers in their growth with a highly qualified and experienced team in direct response made up not only of the 3 pillars that form Lorena, Marta and Nacho, but also of more than 30 performance specialists in all disciplines.”

For Lorena Rodriguez , assuming this new position represents a “great opportunity to continue growing alongside clients and teams in a more strategic role.”

Lorena has eleven years of experience in digital advertising, the last four of which have been exclusively for eCommerce clients, with a focus on improving business results. As for clients, she has extensive experience in the entertainment and tourism sectors. She has experience with B2B clients and is responsible for the operation of a digital performance hub for a client, centralising the activity of more than 12 markets.

For Nacho López , joining this PHD team represents "a new challenge that I face with all the motivation in the world and an opportunity for personal and professional growth."

Nacho has ten years of experience in digital advertising, both in media agencies and independent digital creative agencies. He has extensive experience with clients from verticals such as banking, insurance, fashion or consumer goods (among others), for markets in EMEA, APAC or LATAM.
