Web animations: a guide to using them correctly and implementing them with Elementor

Post by pappu6329 »

If a few weeks ago I was talking to you on this same blog about why I am not a big fan of image sliders , today it is time to talk about their cousins: web animations.

Admit it: when you visit a blog or website, you like to see lots of “little things” moving from one place to another.

You love seeing texts or images appear from different points on your screen or that when you place them on top of a button, a phrase, etc. it creates a cool 3D effect, increases its size, etc.

Well, I have to confess two things to you:

The first is that I admit that I also find web animations attractive and they can really dazzle me.

The second is that I am not their biggest defender, I am not their best friend nor am I a big fan of using them.

Well, to be more precise, I am not in favour of using them without czech republic telegram phone numbers sense. That is, just because everything looks prettier.

In fact, I am writing this post because I feel the need to delve deeper into this topic of web animations generally for one reason.

It has happened to me many times that people who ask me to design their blog or website want to introduce animations to everything just because, just so their website has movement.

Just like that, without rhyme or reason. Without bread or anything.

This is a mistake and I want to explain to you, from my point of view, why.

I want to highlight the “from my point of view” in the last sentence I wrote before.

And I say this because with the slider issue there were people who told me that they did not agree with what I said there and even seemed to feel offended because I said that I did not think it was a good idea to use them.

I don't want anyone who has a different opinion to feel attacked, nor do I want to impose my ideas, far from it. But I also don't want anyone to want to impose their ideas on me.

This is my blog and, logically, I write from my experience and from my professional point of view. Not from that of other people or professionals.

My only intention with it is to help whoever reads it make decisions regarding the design or creation of their digital platform (in this case, specifically using animations on their website or blog) based on what I have experienced and what I think as a result of those experiences. Nothing more.
