It was 9pm when a television report about the food shortages among children in Mozambique took away Diogo's appetite for the hearty dinner he had in front of him.

She couldn't be complicit in the situation when, after all, it cost so little to help. She was browsing social media, as she does so many other days, when she saw the initiative " A cause in 30 seconds ". It was her chance to spread the message. She grabbed her video camera and showed how even a 2-year-old girl can understand that if we all help, these children will have a better future.

In the midst of so many videos, of so many equally valid causes, we cannot remain indifferent to Diogo's appeal, played by the sweet Maria. It really does cost so little!

We will support HELPO , a Non-Governmental Organization for Development, with a kuwait whatsapp number database of €2,500 and guarantee a school snack, during a school year, to 357 children from the community of Impire, a very populated and deprived community, located 50km from Pemba, the capital of the province of Cabo Delgado.

There are 357 children who will have a more productive school year since, for many of them, this is the only meal they have access to during the day.

It's still not much; it's true! But if we all help, we can guarantee a better future for more children. It's only €7! With this amount, you can provide a school snack for a child for an entire school year! Will we all help? Let yourself be inspired, like us, by the example of little Maria.

Angola, access to better health care
Also in Angola, we support a project that aims to provide children with a better future, guaranteeing them access to decent healthcare, through contributions to the project developed by the Parish of Nossa Senhora da Boa Nova de Viana.

Founded on October 1, 1995, by Archbishop Cardinal Dom Alexandre do Nascimento, at the request of the Missionaries of the Good News, the Parish of Our Lady of the Good News of Viana is a parish center that provides support to malnourished children, who come from unstable situations and in great need. This center also provides solidarity consultations with a view to treating patients with tuberculosis.

Cape Verde, support for young children
In Cape Verde, PRIMAVERA is hand in hand with the "project for young childhood", promoted by Edukart, an institution based on Sal Island, dedicated to supporting babies and children of young teenagers, still of school age.

In order to ensure that young mothers, aged between 14 and 25, continue to attend the education system, we support the "project for young childhood", which promotes equal opportunities.

A toy for a smile
As expected, during this festive season, the PRIMAVERA community once again donned the Santa Claus costume and delivered the much-desired gift to more than 1000 Portuguese children supported by Cáritas.

So far, more than 7,000 children have had the opportunity to receive their dream Christmas present, thanks to the generosity of people, institutions and entities that have embraced and supported the "A toy for a smile" initiative since day one.

The result of a partnership between Cáritas Diocesana Portuguesa and the PRIMAVERA community, the initiative aims to grant Christmas wishes to disadvantaged children across the country.
