The data is already out there

Post by Bappy10 »

Of course, there has been a lot of commotion surrounding this initiative. Big Brother is watching you! Isn't the American government going too far with this initiative? Isn't the United States violating the privacy of millions of citizens here? Now we are screaming bloody murder because the American government has collected all this data through secret agreements. We have no control or insight into the profile that is being created of all of us. Am I a terrorist in the eyes of the United States? And if this aggregated conclusion is unjustified, how can I change it? Or am I stuck with this label for the rest of my life? So it is creepy.

What is striking, however, is that a large part of the same data is already on the street. Anyone can create profiles of latvia phone number list anyone by combining information from Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, among others. In fact, we find it no more than normal when there is a personalized advertisement in our timeline. And here too, we have little influence on the digital alter ego that the various algorithms create of us. We are fine with this. We pay with our privacy to be able to look into the lives of others. And we do not mind when someone else peeps at us.

The fourth and final trend report ' Your Big Data Potential - The Art of the Possible ' examines how big data potential is currently being realized within organizations and institutions and how far we have come. To tap into big data potential, you need to understand the art of exploring the possible and making the seemingly impossible possible. Big data is your new colleague and the mission is to bring in and implement radical ideas: science fiction based on science facts. The only limitation with big data is your own imagination.

Nothing is impossible anymore
The core of all big data initiatives is to look beyond your own data boundaries, and to search for interesting combinations of internal and external, structured and unstructured data. The execution of PRISM shows once again the potential of a good big data strategy. The art is to make the impossible possible. And what PRISM shows is that nothing is impossible anymore.
