Crowdfunding pitches during presentation

Post by Bappy10 »

Ultimately, it is about the content that can be found and shared. Valuable content. Does the target group get answers to burning questions, is it fun and does he enjoy himself? Can he express his opinion or questions about current affairs? Look close to the target group, what is going on? Listen and anticipate that. You can do that with statements, questions, funny messages. And test what works and what doesn't, trial & error. For one person, a Question & Answer works, for another an open dialogue and for the next voting on statements works.

Step 2: Community Initial Phase
The early stages of community building begin with communicating and organizing.
The Dutch see crowdfunding primarily as a means to jointly make initiatives possible. That latvia phone number list is the most important conclusion of the National Crowdfunding Survey 2013, which was presented this afternoon in Utrecht. The National Crowdfunding Survey provides insight into the perception and motivation of donors and investors who have made a contribution via crowdfunding.

Crowdfunding is social
Crowdfunding has grown strongly in recent years and it is expected that this will continue in the coming years. Crowdfunding is therefore a welcome addition to current sources of financing for both projects and companies. The social character is characteristic of crowdfunding, as this research shows. Donors and investors like to stay informed and want to be involved in a project or company. When asked about the most important associations with the term “crowdfunding”, 45% choose 'Making it possible together'.

Associations
During the presentation of the results of the National Crowdfunding Research, three initiators were each given 3 minutes to present their project to a large audience in order to find additional investors.

Case: 1Millionwatt
The initiators of 1Miljoenwatt are a good example of 'making things possible together', because this initiative makes it possible to place more than 1,100 solar panels on the roof of the Euroborg in Groningen .

Case: Foam Lab
The initiators of Foam Lab organize a festive photography market where 25 emerging photographers present and sell their work.

Case: Yoghurt Barn
The initiators behind Yoghurt Barn are an example of passion for their product, organic yoghurt straight from the farmer. During the presentation, the attendees were surprised with the handing out of a tub of yoghurt.

Reason for research and research approach
NCO participantsCrowdfunding has been growing rapidly in recent years. The total market in the Netherlands grew by 460% in 2012 compared to 2011 , and $2.7 billion was raised worldwide in 2012 , via more than 1 million crowdfunding campaigns. What motivates donors and investors to participate in these campaigns? And what can we learn from these initial results to better respond to the opportunities offered by this new form of financing?

To gain insight into this, research is needed. Up until now, the motivations of crowdfunders have never been studied in such detail. In collaboration with the Dutch crowdfunding sector, a study was launched to gain more insight into the motives of Dutch people to make a financial contribution via crowdfunding or not. Sixteen crowdfunding platforms and initiatives brought the study to the attention of their donors and investors and the study was also distributed via social media, which ultimately resulted in more than 1000 respondents participating.
