What is xenophobia?

Post by shukla7789 »

Xenophobia is a social phenomenon deeply rooted in prejudice and reinforced by patriotic, fascist and ethnocentric ideologies, as analyzed by Adorno et al. (1965) and Crochík et al. (2013).

Thus, in simplified terms, it is a feeling of aversion , hostility or rejection towards foreigners, or those who are different , which does not arise from the objective characteristics of the groups identified as external, but from the way in which they are perceived in a subjective and distorted azerbaijan mobile database by prejudiced individuals.

Furthermore, xenophobia is not a reflection of a real threat posed by these groups, but rather an expression of fear and insecurities projected by prejudiced individuals.

This understanding allows us to analyze the phenomenon as part of a broader social and psychological dynamic, which perpetuates discrimination and reinforces inequalities , being a fundamental point of reflection for societies that seek equality and inclusion.
