The association “Au bout du Monde” was born from a partnership between the Société des lecteurs du Monde and the Société du Pôle d'Indépendance du groupe Le Monde . It aims to create the conditions for greater independence of the media from economic and political powers. Its action plan? Support the initiatives of employees who wish to finance their media, organize fundraising and acquire shares and social shares for all members.

The most active members (and having contributed at least 15€) are eligible to sit on the board of directors of the association.
