Google AdWords Keyword Planner

Which is better?
The answer depends on how concrete and specific you want to be in your search for ideas. At first it is good to enter a URL in the “Your landing page” option and check if you need to apply more filters. Another recommended option is to combine keywords with landing page if you know in advance which keywords you want to use. Like many things in marketing and in Adwords it is a matter of experimenting to find the way that you like best

The next step is to define filters to optimize search results. Very useful if you want to hone in on what your target audience is searching for. I'll tell you about them below.

6 264. Advanced segmentation
If in addition to the main options you want to add more advanced filters you can choose between:

Advanced Segmentation and Period Selector

Segment by location

Very interesting if you want to target a specific audience in a country, region minnesota email list city. Imagine that the “plumbing company” only offers its services within the Community of Madrid, in this case you would have to apply this filter to find out how users in Madrid search for your services.

Segment by language

Depending on the audience you want to target, you can restrict your search results. This section refers to the language in which users have their browser configured. If you are targeting users in the Community of Madrid who may have a plumbing problem, the best thing to do would be to configure the language to “Spanish.”

Segment by search engine

You can leave “Google” as the default or expand it to other search partners such as AOL, Youtube, Google Maps and other websites. My advice is that since you search for estimates on Google, this should be the initial option.

Segment by Negative Keywords

In this section you can enter exclusive terms that you do not want to be taken into account in the process because you already know that they do not correspond to what your company offers. In my example, plumbers do not give "plumbing courses", so you could include "course", "training", etc. as negative keywords.
