We often see how well-known brands or people have offered promotions to consumers and even to their clients that they have ultimately been unable to fulfil.
We have to carefully measure our actions before launching an offer or promotion, otherwise the consumer will feel cheated and this campaign will turn against them and be completely counterproductive for the brand.
4.- Finally, and although it may seem obvious, one of the most important decisions in positioning a brand in a communication strategy is the tone we are going to use to address our audience.
In recent years, from my point of view, we have seen some brands communicate in a way that is too "friendly", others are too funny and others have also sinned by communicating in an almost aggressive way. I believe that in all cases, even if a lot of virality is achieved, because social media users in particular enjoy it, the final result is not positive for the brands.
You only have to look at how the Social Media teams of many brands that used these communication techniques have completely changed their tone, or have simply been replaced by other professionals.
Respect for the audience should never be lost.
