In the long run, would you rather spend resources creating content about a topic that 10,000 people are interested in, or about a topic that 10 people are interested in?

To see if you have potential traffic, paste your topic or keyword into Ahrefs’ Keyword Explorer, then click on the SERP and scroll down to see “Traffic.” This should look like this:

From here you can see how much organic traffic the top ranking pages get each month — if you can make it into the top ten, you can also get this much traffic.

Repeat this process to remove low-traffic topics.

You can follow this approach or create your own, but make sure the subject line naturally mentions how your product or service helps solve the problem.
