If an entry receives few visits

Post by Irfanabdulla1111 »

If you click on the “Tasks” tab, you will see a space to include pending tasks. You can select “Rewrite”, “Delete” or just type whatever you want.

Content Analysis - Workflow Tasks
A practical example: on my blog I have several tool tutorials.

Something that happens very often is that tools change and tutorials need to be re-edited from time to time.

In this case, the Genial.ly tool has slightly modified its interface, and I need to update the tutorial on EnClaveProductiva about that tool .

At the time I knew I had to update the post, I didn't have time to do it. But I was able to update the workflow to have the information available as soon as I had a moment to work on my blog.

I go to “Workflow”, click on “Not Analyzed” and select “Tasks”.

I add the “Rewrite” task, and then in the “Notes” tab I can include a note, for example “Update tutorial to adapt it to the new interface.”

Then you have to click on “Save” and below on “Save today's data” to save the changes.

Once this is done, the row for that post will say “In Progress” in the “WorkFlow” column.

Content Analysis - Content Analyzer in progress
All I have to do when I have time to devote to my blog is go to the posts with the status “In Progress” and retrieve the notes I have been writing.

And the same goes if more people work on the blog, each one can do the pending tasks that have been noted.

What actions should be taken after content analysis?
Well… it depends!

Depending on the data you want to improve, you will have to carry out one action or another.

Explaining how to obtain good data on metrics would make a complete encyclopedia of content marketing.

But here are some general tips that I hope you find useful.

It could be because the content does not respond to the interests of users, the title is not attractive, the SEO is not well done, you have not disseminated it enough... or a mixture of everything.

To fix this, make sure the topic gets enough searches, the KW is well-crafted, and the content is engaging and provides value.

Good dissemination on social networks or content aggregators will also be very helpful.

In addition to focusing on attracting new users, you can also try to increase repeat visits.

In this post you will find some ideas on how to do it.

To increase the time spent on the page,
Make your content longer and add some links to other related posts of yours.

Consider including a video and/or a plugin that displays “related posts” at the end email database list of the post.

Good user experience and the design of your site are also important.

Have you noticed that your content is not shared enough?
Make sure your share buttons are working properly and encourage users to share them on your post.

If it doesn't work, you haven't managed to excite them with your content, give it another try!
