Pharmacy is becoming increasingly digital. Almost 60% believe that using technology is important to build relationships with citizens and provide an efficient and fast service. If 40% of pharmacists manage digital channels in-house, 36% have decided to invest in the digital transition by relying on a specialized agency. The most used tools are Facebook (78.2%), Instagram (62.6%) and Whatsapp (66.7%).
These are the results that emerged from an online survey promoted by Pharmap, the leading Italian company in pharmaceutical delivery. The survey, carried out throughout the month of October, was administered to 1716 pharmacies in the company's network at a national level, to which the majority of the responses were given by the owners (60%), with the aim of 'investigating within the process of digitization of the pharmaceutical sector.
