How to manage work time? Gamification will help, or get to know Habit RPG!

Post by sumaiyakhatun25 »

You know how hard it is to sometimes force yourself to work. Whether it's corporate responsibilities or your own projects, there are times when the work just falls apart. Numerous task management apps come to the rescue.

You probably know a lot of them. I've tested a dozen myself. Any.do, Wunderlist, etc. - I installed and tested them all. None of them grabbed me. There was no goal other than the satisfaction of having control over my duties.

The creators of the aforementioned applications are gradually discovering the power of china rcs data rewards and gamification. They are introducing minor elements of this type. Others are already a few steps ahead. For fans of game mechanics, HabitRPG was created . It is a task management tool in which you develop your own character, gain experience points, compete with friends. All of this in order to develop good habits and better organize your time.

The idea is simple. You do your chores (some everyday, some unique) and gain experience points that way. If you collect enough of them, you can unlock items for your character or real rewards that you set yourself: for example, a well-deserved viewing of an episode of your favorite series. It's worth fighting for, right?

The phenomenal element is... the penalty system! I've been waiting for an app to use the stick instead of the carrot. If you don't fulfill your obligations, you lose life points. If you lose too many of them, your stats drop and you go backwards in your development. Personally, I think that penalties in task management apps have a future. They motivate me.

The biggest problem with task management tools is adhering to self-selected constraints. Can RPG elements help overcome this problem? Try Habit RPG and let me know if it does!
